We're looking for a dependable and versatile General Maintenance Technician to join our Newark team. What you'll do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance across commercial and institutional facilities
• Handle repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building systems
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Inspect building systems and identify issues before they become costly problems
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of general maintenance or facilities technician experience
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry basics
• Ability to read work orders, maintenance logs, and basic technical instructions
• Familiarity with New Jersey building codes and safety regulations is a plus
• Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive can-do attitude
